Modern cars are becoming ever more complicated, it is important that the best diagnostic equipment is available to diagnose faults as and when they appear. At A for Audi, diagnostics is an area that we pride ourselves on, investing year on year to ensure that our technicians have the best knowledge and equipment at their disposal.
On a daily basis one of our most common questions is "how much will you charge to diagnose a fault with my car?" The answer to this is that due to the volume of cars we see we're likely to diagnose the fault fairly quickly, the cost is simply dependent on the time taken. We will provide a report and estimate to rectify the fault.
Pass Through Technology
Manufacturers have recently moved their diagnostic platform from PC based to server based. This allows your car to be diagnosed with the most up to date information available, linked directly to the manufacturer. We have invested in this system, this allows us to carry out diagnostics and repairs that would usually only be possible at a main dealer, including services such as key coding, ECU replacement and software updates.
